Huguenot Group(Special Interest Group)

Language, Memory, and Loss

When: 7.00pm

Where: Online via Zoom
or in the Genealogy SA Library

This group is dedicated to exploring the rich history, culture, and legacy of the French Huguenots through the lens of genealogy, philosophy, and creative dialogue.

Art, Craft, and Survival: The Huguenots were, if anything, known for their artisanship (silk weaving, goldsmithing, publishing, music). How does art help communities endure trauma? What objects, poems, or artwork inspire you through difficult times?

Email the group convener to let them know you're attending in the library, or register here to attend this meeting via Zoom. Please make sure you choose the correct date in the drop-down menu.

To attend this meeting on Zoom you will need a computer with a webcam and microphone, and sufficient data allowance. Some experience using Zoom is also advised.

If you have any questions, or if you require assistance, please email the group convener or contact Genealogy SA by phone on 08 8272 4222.
