Membership Fees
Joining Genealogy SA is a great way to access resources for your family history research, and to connect with other family historians.
- Members get full access to our Online Databases, which covers South Australian BDM records, newspaper notices, shipping, church and school records, and much more.
- We also offer free and discounted member events, discounted Research Services and Special Interest Groups,
- Membership includes free access to the Genealogy SA Library, which includes our specialised library collections, as well as in-library access to Ancestry, FindMyPast, MyHeritage and other major family history research tools.

Membership is $132 annually, with no joining fee. Your yearly membership runs for the 12 months from the date your application is accepted. You can easily join online, and gain immediate access to member only results in our Online Databases. Members can also join or renew in-person in the Genealogy SA Library, over the phone, or by post. We accept direct online payment, as well as cash, cheque, EFTPOS and direct deposit.
