Huguenot Group(Special Interest Group)
Innovation and Adaptation
When: 7.00pm
Where: Online via Zoom
or in the Genealogy SA Library
This group is dedicated to exploring the rich history, culture, and legacy of the French Huguenots through the lens of genealogy, philosophy, and creative dialogue.
Innovation and Adaptation: The Huguenot 'diaspora' made significant contributions to advancing weaving, finance, science, viticulture, to name just a few skills, across the world. Why are migrants drivers of entrepreneurship, adaptation and necessary disruptions in other lands? Do you have an 'outsider' story of resilience and adaptation from your life?
Email the group convener to let them know you're attending in the library, or register here to attend this meeting via Zoom. Please make sure you choose the correct date in the drop-down menu.
