Transcriptions - Looking Good!
Transcription requests continue to flow in. We remain delighted that the availability of the Births, Deaths and Marriages databases is creating such interest, and that we are able to help so many people from so many different places with their family history research. Processing of requests has stabilised, and we are now turning our attention to the ordering process to make ordering simpler and quicker.
Again, we emphasise that it helps us to provide you with a better service if you are as clear as possible in what you are seeking in your Transcription, Lookup or general Research request.

Genealogy SA is developing an exciting online subscriber contributed database. Design of the database platform has now commenced, but we need help from a volunteer project manager to coordinate the Society's specialist genealogical advisors with the database design consultants.
