Have you read a book which has inspired you to write about your family history? It could be a family history, biography, memoir or a more general history. Introduced by Zoe Ratcliffe who will talk about some books she has read which are good examples. Being inspired and motivated to write is an important part of the writing process. Reading other works can not only inspire, but also provide you with ideas about ways to write your family history. If you have a good example of such a read, bring it along. Be prepared to introduce it and explain how it has inspired you and/or what ideas it has given you which could be applied to family history writing.
